| Internet Design was formed in 1997 as a partnership. The company is
and will remain privately owned. Two of the three original partners still
remain with the company.
John Smart, Founding Partner and Technical Director
Develops our E-commerce and self-edit software.
Background: 18 years experience with computers and programming. I found
the Internet to be a wonderful new challenge and knew it was the next
frontier for my programming skills. When I started the company, my focus
was on creating professional looking sites with ease of navigation as
the primary foundation. Over seven years later, our goals are very much
the same.
Lori Smart, Partner and Operations Manager
Provides most of the creative talents.
Background: Experience in accounting and business management led to my
developing a company website in 1996. I enjoyed the challenge and creativity
so much that when John approached me about joining Internet Design as
a partner in 1997, I didn’t hesitate. I love the opportunity to
use both my right and left brain skills on a daily basis.
John and Lori started out as business partners, and found that they work
so well together they became life partners in marriage in April, 2001.
The remainder of the Internet Design team consists of developers, sales
representatives and server administrators.
